Weight Loss Journey…Day 180

180 days of working out…6 whole months!  I’ve been kind of slack this past month.  I finished Insanity and have still been doing it periodically and trying to run when I can.  I started P90X a couple of days ago and really like it so far.  It’s quite a change from the intense cardio that I’ve been used to.  I also am doing 3 of those 30-day challenges that are all over Pinterest and the internet (30-day ab challenge, 30-day push-up challenge, and 30-day squat challenge).  I still want to lose more weight but want to start doing more weight training so I can see of my muscles that have been hidden for so long!

And just so you can really see a difference, here is the true day 1 and now (day 180):

Here are my 180 day stats:

Weight: 177.5 (loss of 48.5 pounds total since working out, loss of 58.5 pounds since March 2013)
Smallest part of waist: 34″ (loss of 7″ total)
Hips: 39″ (loss of 9.5″ total)
Chest: 34″ (loss of 7″ total)
Bicep: 12.5″ (loss of 2″ total)
Thigh: 21″ (loss of 6″ total)

Here are some of my goals to keep me motivated until I can just work on maintaining:

  • Lose 27.5 more pounds to get to my ultimate goal
  • Fit into my size 8 & 10 pants.  I started with size 18 and am now in size 12 🙂
  • Be able to see my biceps
  • Do 20 real push-ups at a time.
  • Hold the low plank for 3 minutes.
  • Wear a 2 piece bathing suit next year.
  • Run in a 10k.
